From a casual glance, it may seem Slack offers a better deal, but they do limit the number of participants to 15 for all plans. That is a bit on the lower side, when you compare it to Zoom’s 100 participants limit for the pro plan, 300 for business, and 500 for Enterprise plan.

Furthermore, even with the free plan, you get to host up to 100 participants, but for 40 minutes only. That makes Zoom ideal for teaching online, as well as collaborating teams of over 15 – 100 participants.

Functionality

However, Slack does offer functionalities such as integration such as syncing with Active Directory. In that regard, slack is ideal for corporate meetings with few participants, but with a need to transition between Slack and other office tools.
